Our engineering team has worked tirelessly to create some of the most advanced ice baths on the market today. Not only do you get the beauty, sleek design, and quality build that all Dreampod products are known for, but we’ve designed the Ice Bath to push the limits of cold water immersion like never before.
Here at Dreampod we’re all about options. Our standard Ice Bath is 1600 mm long (over 5 ft.) and allows for even the tallest of people to enjoy the benefits of cold therapy. Our Ice Barrel has a much smaller footprint and accommodates our clients who may be limited on space, but still want the opportunity to freeze.
Regardless of which cold plunge you choose, the Dreampod Ice Bath delivers freezing cold water all the time. It’s ready when you’re ready. No more bags and bags of ice. Simply slide into the Dreampod and relax, or at least do your best to relax while your body reaps the benefits of cold water therapy.
Some benefits of cold immersion
Cold water immersion constricts the body’s blood vessels and aids in flushing toxins from the body. It also has immense benefits in the reduction of inflammation and swelling throughout the body. After exiting the Ice Bath your body naturally begins to heat itself back up and the blood vessels that were constricted now expand to allow blood flow. This constriction and expansion of the blood vessels can have a lasting effect on blood pressure, overall circulation, and health throughout the body.
Oftentimes people report having a better night’s sleep after an ice bath. This is due to the sympathetic nervous system getting a work out in the ice and your overall central nervous system de-regulating itself.
